in case you haven’t heard :)

UdD invades the United States with Metromix posting, 57 US Cities!

Check out Music Editor of Metromix, Andy Hermann’s great write up on UdD.  This is cause for celebration, as this marks the first time that any indie band out of the Philippines has been featured.  It’s also important to note that UdD will never leave this gallery, and will remain in the top 8 postings for the next 2 months.
UdD is mentioned in the same breath as some of today’s hottest up and coming bands.  This is hopefully the sign of great things yet to come :)

Inspired by the Bokatot (local term for an eel catcher), this was an actual installation from 2005, spearheaded by Kawayan de Guia made from used clothes or ukay-ukay, sown together by people who participated in the project.
This year, the Ax(iS) tent will be a much bigger one, involving students from various universities, student orgs and just about anybody interested enough to take part in this activity. The act of sowing emulates the crossing of minds, ideas and a collaboration between people from all walks of life through art, film, photography and music.
